Job summary

InDyne is seeking an Human Resource Specialist to support shared services HR functions in a secure, government-enabled environment.

Responsibilities include recordkeeping, EEO and affirmative action duties, policy and plan preparation, and coordination of HR documentation for contracts and meetings. The role requires confidentiality, attention to detail, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or 2-3 years HR experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Costpoint desired.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to produce quality work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR recordkeeping including scanning and filing documents related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion, especially relating to EEO, affirmative action and diversity initiatives.
  • Assist with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, labor agreements, and employee handbooks.
  • Assist with preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employees and/or labor organizations.
  • May assist the HR Benefits function with reconciliation and processing of monthly medical, dental, vision, Life & Disability, 529 and other insurance invoices.
  • Prepares reports, documents and presentations and coordinates self-audit of the HR Shared Services function.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The Human Resource Specialist will be responsible for and/or assist with assigned shared services human resources functions.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with recordkeeping to include scanning and filing of documents related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion particularly as related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and diversity initiatives.
  • Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, labor agreements, and employee handbooks.
  • Assists with preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and/or labor organizations.
  • May assist the HR Benefits function with reconciliation and processing of monthly medical, dental, vision, Life & Disability, 529 and Supplemental Voluntary Disability insurance invoices.
  • Prepares reports, documents, presentations and will coordinate/assist with the self-audit of the HR Shared Services function.
  • Ensure that the strictest of confidentiality is always maintained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field and/or equivalent of 2 -3 years’ work experience, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Costpoint desired.

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary- involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for briefs periods of time. Exerts up 10 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
  • Job is mostly sedentary in nature with repetitive computer work required.
  • Some walking and standing on a limited scale may be required.
  • Limited lifting required. Less than 20 pounds.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Pay Range
