Phillips Academy seeks a Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for Human Resources and Business offices. This full-time position involves administrative support, managing HR activities, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. The Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the Human Resources, General Counsel, and Business offices, greeting visitors and directing inquiries. The Coordinator provides administrative assistance to these offices and supports multiple individuals, including assistance with their administrative and project needs to achieve team goals. This is an in-person position.
Additionally, the Coordinator manages various activities supporting the human resources department, such as assigning online training, coordinating new employee orientation, financial planning sessions, ergonomics requests, employee file management, meeting coordination, documentation compliance for the 403(b) plan, budget management and reconciliation, newsletter submissions, oversight of the nursing mothers room, service awards, community events, office supplies ordering, and employee policy revisions.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, with five years of experience in a fast-paced professional setting as a human resources coordinator, executive administrative assistant, office manager, or similar role. The candidate should demonstrate and develop cultural competence in their duties.
