The Human Resources Advisor – Leave & Benefits reports to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team in administering employee leave and benefit programs. The role provides accurate, timely and confidential guidance to employees and leaders while ensuring HR processes comply with Company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

This position is primarily based at the Northern Star Fairbanks office and works a 5-days-on, 2-days-off schedule. Regular travel to the Pogo Mine site will be required. The site is a remote operation located approximately three hours from Fairbanks, with Company-provided transportation available. Site visits may involve exposure to changing and extreme weather conditions, dust, mud, varying noise levels, changing light conditions and confined work areas. When an overnight stay is required, Company-provided camp accommodation and meals are available. Camp facilities include:
