The anticipated salary hiring range is $4,367- $4,543 per month (Steps 1 – 3), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The salary range for this classification is $4,367 -$6,362 per month.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. The HR Administrative Support Coordinator performs a variety of routine to complex administrative responsibilities to support the Human Resources and Payroll Department. The incumbent must be familiar with the basic workflow of Human Resources functions including benefits, employment, recruitment, classification, compensation, and Payroll processes. Primary responsibilities include coordinating administrative support functions for multiple HR and Payroll programs; department budget responsibilities; front-facing customer service responsibilities; developing and enhancing documents involving the use of advanced software (i.e. Adobe programs and/or DocuSign); and performing administrative duties and project work and coordination related to university programs, policies, and procedures.
The incumbent serves as primary contact and/or resource to the public and university constituents and regularly interacts with a variety to campus and community constituents including: working with students, faculty, and staff to assist them or resolve problems; networking to build campus relationships to coordinate work and projects in an accurate and efficient manner. Day-to-day work is performed independently and under general direction with minimal supervision. Work is supervised in terms of overall accomplishments. The incumbent is expected to set their own priorities. Assignments are varied requiring the use of judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying university, systemwide, and department policies and procedures.
