Job summary

Western State Bank in West Fargo, ND is seeking an HR Partner to serve as a trusted resource and coach to leaders across the organization. You’ll support workforce planning, performance conversations, and people strategies that align with our banking culture and core values.

You’ll partner with leaders and HR teams to identify talent needs, design development plans, and drive engagement while upholding our commitment to fair, consistent HR practices across the bank.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with leaders on a broad range of HR and people-related matters.

What You’ll Do

No two days in HR are exactly the same and that’s part of what makes this role exciting. You’ll have the opportunity to:

Build trusted relationships with leaders and team members and serve as a go-to partner for HR guidance and support.

Coach leaders through team member relations, performance management, development, and those sometimes-difficult conversations that come with leading a team.

Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, succession planning, and team member engagement.

Help identify talent needs and work alongside recruiting and compensation to find solutions that support our teams and the business.

Listen and learn from team member feedback, HR data, and business trends to identify opportunities and recommend meaningful action.

Support teams through growth and change with open, thoughtful, and frequent communication.

Help ensure our HR practices are consistent, fair, and aligned with Western’s policies, values, and employment requirements.

Look for opportunities to improve the team member experience and when something isn’t working, help make it right.
