Partners with business leaders to develop and direct HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that support the overall direction and goals of Essentia Health. Advises leaders on talent strategies and supports them in executing their business objectives. Provides strategic consultative skills and serves as a trusted advisor to assigned leaders, offering coaching and feedback. Utilizes actionable analytics to improve decision-making and makes recommendations for action or change based on data. Leads change initiatives by partnering with leaders on planning, implementing, and communicating necessary changes, involving employees as needed. Drives performance consulting, ensuring expectations align with business strategy. Works proactively to influence organizational culture in accordance with mission, vision, and values. Collaborates with department leaders to identify and meet workforce needs, ensuring organizational effectiveness and achievement of business objectives. Assists in developing plans to attract top talent and enhances employee development. Understands staff competencies and gaps, making recommendations regarding department structure and career development. Leverages strong relationships within operations and HR Centers of Excellence to promote collaboration across the organization. Supports leaders and employees in addressing performance issues, modeling and implementing a coaching approach to problem-solving. Investigates employee issues and concerns to determine facts and assess their impact.
Business Partners in level III roles leverage their knowledge of the business to prioritize HR initiatives based on impact and strategic alignment. They provide strategic advice and counsel to executives, serving as trusted advisors. Skilled in coaching and consulting with senior leadership to achieve optimal performance, they utilize organizational data to predict and recommend HR interventions, programs, and policies. They support leaders at all levels, including Vice Presidents and senior executives, and are expected to lead projects, identify opportunities, and develop recommendations for improvements. Level III HR Business Partners leverage their understanding of the business to provide feedback on HR initiatives.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, HR Business Partner, or similar roles that encompass multiple HR disciplines.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR Management, or a related field.
SPHR or PHR preferred.
