Job summary

Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) seeks a full-time HRIS Administrator to manage HRIS, support HR processes, and supply admin support to the HR department.

The role requires 2–3 years in HR with HRIS/payroll experience (ADP preferred), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently in a healthcare nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in business-related field required; bachelor's preferred.
  • 2–3 years in Human Resources with HRIS, payroll (preferably ADP) and admin duties.
  • Healthcare/nonprofit/FQHC environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Administers HRIS system and serves as technical point of contact for HRIS data and reports.
  • Maintains expertise in ADP payroll and Compliatric compliance software.
  • Performs data entry, analysis and report generation for HRIS.
  • Identifies problems and develops system/process solutions for accurate data and timely reports.
  • Controls security and access to HRIS and defines query logic for standard reports.
  • Audits data integrity and resolves inconsistencies to prevent recurrence.
  • Assists with posting positions on job boards and recruitment platforms.
  • Supports onboarding and new hire processes.
  • Delivers HRIS training and end-user materials.
  • Troubleshoots issues and tracks tickets through resolution.
  • Maintains HR dashboard and employee records; provides general admin support.

Job description

General Function

Has primary accountability for the administration of the HRIS system, working closely with key staff members to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support effective technology solutions for HR processes. Provides administrative support to the HR department.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages the administration of the HRIS system and serves as the technical point-of-contact in all HR functions reliant upon HRIS data and report generation.
  • Maintains expert user knowledge of HRIS system(s) including the ADP payroll system and Compliatric compliance software.
  • Responsible for all data entry, analysis and report generation for HRIS systems.
  • Ability to identify problems, resolve inquiries and develop appropriate system and/or process solutions to assure accurate and timely data entry and report generation.
  • Ensures the control of security and access to HRIS.
  • Defines logic for the generation of queries to develop standardized reports of HR metrics by established deadlines or on an ad hoc basis.
  • Ensures data integrity and system accuracy for all HRIS systems through regular audits, recognizing data problems or inconsistencies and implementing solutions for corrective action to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Assist with posting open positions on job boards, recruitment platforms, social media, and the organization’s career website.
  • Assistwith recruitment reporting, hiring metrics, and workforce tracking.
  • Onboarding and New Hire Support.
  • Identifies, develops and delivers HRIS training and communication materials to meet the needs of end users to optimize functionality and self-sufficiency.
  • Troubleshoots technical and data issues and submit tickets for issues and/or requested functionality and follows tickets through to resolution.
  • Maintain HR dashboard and Employees records and HR Administration.
  • General Administrative Support.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in a business-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
  • Two (to three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources working with HRIS, payroll (preferably ADP) and performing administrative duties required.
  • Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet established schedules, timelines, or deadlines.

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, no weekends, or holidays.
