Job summary

Penn State University Park is seeking a Human Research Technologist to support the HEALthy Brain and Child Development study. You will recruit participants, schedule visits, obtain consent, and collect data from families through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Data collection focuses on behavioral assessments and EEG with infants and young children, with additional components including biological samples and MRI.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.
• Willingness to learn and develop computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Professional experience working with infants and/or children is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants and coordinate visit scheduling and consent forms.
• Collect and process data from participants.
• Prepare materials needed for each research visit and assist in data entry.
• Attend lab meetings, team meetings, and trainings.
• Serve on designated committees within the study as appropriate.
• Data collection will focus on behavioral assessments and EEG with infants/young children; other components include biological samples and MRI.
