Job summary

VF is seeking an Innovation Manager, Human Performance to lead biomechanics and physiology testing across our brand portfolio, focusing initially on footwear. You will independently run studies, analyze data, and communicate results to product creation, design, engineering, and leadership teams.

You will manage cross-functional projects, collaborate with external partners, and contribute to conference presentations to keep VF at the forefront of sports science and product innovation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology or related field with 3+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience designing studies, collecting/analysing data, and communicating findings to diverse audiences.
• Proficient with lab/field physiology data collection tools and analysis platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead biomechanics and physiology testing for innovation projects across VF brands.
• Create visuals and summaries that translate data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with external partners and present findings at conferences to stay at the cutting edge.
• Deliver and test prototypes to drive new concepts in athlete performance and injury reduction.
