SaidGig is seeking a remote Data Operations role to design and optimize data workflows that support AI model training and evaluation. You will help collect, annotate, and analyze data, while establishing KPIs and reporting to drive improvements.

Ideal candidates will merge data operations expertise with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, distributed environment. This role is remote and worldwide, with region-specific hiring processes.

Role Overview

Help shape next-generation AI systems through high-quality human data, evaluation input, and operational insight. You will design and improve the data workflows that support accurate model training, reasoning, and performance. Prior AI experience is not required, and relevant domain expertise is valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage workflows for data annotation, collection, processing, and analysis.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to improve operations and support data-driven decisions.
• Analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and present recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Partner across functions to align data strategy with business objectives.
• Develop reporting frameworks that track key metrics and workflow improvements.

• Take a proactive, hands-on approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and experience in data analysis, annotation, or workflow optimization.
• Familiarity with operational processes and a focus on improving efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and clearly communicate data-backed insights in writing and verbally.
• Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality and validation.
• Ability to learn quickly, perform under pressure, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management, data operations, quality analysis, or human data is relevant.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in engineering or another technical field with an operational or human-data focus.
• Experience with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or SQL.
• Internship or project-based experience in data management, AI or machine learning, or process optimization.

Work Terms

Full-time, remote role. Hiring occurs across multiple regions to support coverage, compliance, and time-zone needs. Responsibilities and expectations are consistent, while employment terms may vary by region.

Compensation

$40 to $60 per hour.
