Human Capital Specialist

You’ll partner with leadership and HR teams to ensure recognition initiatives align with mission objectives, comply with policy, and deliver meaningful impact. From program design and policy interpretation to data analysis and event coordination you’ll be the go‑to expert for recognition strategies. You’ll build trusted relationships, anticipate needs, and propose innovative solutions that make employees feel valued and motivated. What We’re Looking For

You Have:

  • Experience building credibility and driving adoption
  • Experience developing and administering awards programs, including policy compliance and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience performing optimally under tight time constraints and adapting to last‑minute changes without loss of quality
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, and using technology to manage HR program administration
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and timelines across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Ability to distill complex data into succinct, jargon‑free narratives and presentations for senior decision‑makers
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience handling rigorous Q&A
  • Experience managing high‑volume, quick‑turn taskers while maintaining composure and precision in a high‑pressure environment
  • Experience automating awards workflows using HRIS or workflow tools such as ServiceNow or Workday
  • Ability to pivot briefings in real time based on executive audience feedback
  • Ability to use critical thinking, including problem framing, research, and option evaluation, to provide clear, actionable recommendations
  • Possession of excellent consulting skills with a client‑service mindset
  • HR‑related professional certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
