Temple College in Temple, TX seeks an Anatomy and Physiology Lab Tutor under general supervision to assist students in learning anatomical structures, maintain lab models, quantify student usage, organize teaching labs at semester end, inventory lab models, and submit timesheets promptly.
The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to meet with the lab coordinator as needed. Schedule varies and on-site work is required.
Under general supervision of the anatomy and physiology lab coordinator and biology department chair, tutors will assist anatomy and physiology students in learning anatomical structures, which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, maintain organization of laboratory models, quantify student usage of the lab, organize the anatomy teaching labs at the end of each semester, inventory the lab models, maintain and submit their timesheets promptly and be available to meet with the anatomy and physiology lab coordinator as needed.
Earned an "A" in both Anatomy & Physiology I and II (Biol 2401 and 2402) and demonstrates proficiency in human anatomy.

Light physical activity with lifting of laboratory models up to 40 pounds. Position requires long periods of time sitting or standing. Use a computer to enter data for student data usage.
Work is performed in a laboratory setting.
Close proximity to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, smoke, flames, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Schedule will vary due to departmental commitments.
Work may be required outside of normal business hours. evenings and weekends
This is an on-site position. Essential duties of the role must be performed in-person, during prescribed work hours.
