The Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA) is seeking a Community Development Coordinator to support HUD programs and affordable housing initiatives within the Community & Economic Development team. The role focuses on applying for grants, reporting to HUD, compliance monitoring, and coordinating with cities and non-profits.

Qualifications

• A combination of related education and experience to total five years (a four-year degree in a related field is preferred).
• Knowledge of public financing methods related to grants and loans.
• Knowledge of affordable housing and community development programs and processes.
• Proficient in Excel

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary administrator for HUD reporting systems including IDIS, Sage HMIS Reporting Repository, DRGR, and HEROS for CDA and HOME Consortium members.
• Complete HOME Investment Partnership, CDBG, and ESG activity setup, tracking, entitlement funding and program income tracking; payment processing, compliance and reporting in IDIS and Sage.
• Oversee environmental reviews for activities; complete set-up and track activities in HEROS.
• Provide technical assistance to HOME Consortium members and other funding recipients.
• Track each step of an activities progress toward completion and funding status.
• Verify and process draw requests from all Consortium members and CDA staff; complete draw requests and submit to CDA's Finance department.
• Assist with quarterly reporting to Dakota County on program expenditures for CDBG, HOME and ESG.
