Job summary

The Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel’s Huckleberry Deli is hiring a cashier to ensure positive guest experiences by processing payments and inquiring about dining experiences. The role involves greeting guests, handling funds, reconciling cash, and providing directions as needed.

Training on policies will be provided, with a focus on accuracy and service. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 19+, and able to obtain the Tribal Gaming License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to obtain an Ancillary (Class B) Coeur d’Alene Tribal Gaming License required.
• Previous cashiering and customer service experience required, six months preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Obtain a bank from the money room at the start of each shift.
• Receive funds from customers and disburse funds, and record monetary transactions.
• Prepare paperwork in accordance with departmental cashier policy.
• Compare totals on cash register with amount of currency in register to verify balances.
• Assist customers by providing requested information or directions.
• Keep cashier stand clean and organized.
• Bus, & clean tables as needed.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
