Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Hub Driver to join our distribution network in Durham, NC. You will obtain and maintain MVR certification, deliver parts on HUB routes, and stage items for Store to Store orders with accuracy and efficiency.

You will also manage Store to Store transfers, handle HUB paperwork, perform daily safety checklists, and support inventory replenishment while maintaining a clean work environment and safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be a certified MVR operator.
• Previous experience in Automotive parts is preferred.
• Strong ability to prioritize integrity, safety, and efficiency.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Proficient driving and navigation skills, ensuring safe, timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ability to follow predetermined routes and schedules.
• Competence in locating and stocking parts.
• Comprehensive safety knowledge and skills, prioritizing a safe working environment.
• Experience operating inventory systems and store equipment efficiently is preferred.
• Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus); effective communication and relationship-building ability with team members, peers, and management.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
