Job summary

Maola Local Dairies is seeking an HTST Operator for the 1st shift in Newport News, VA. The role involves pasteurizing and homogenizing dairy products, operating pasteurizers, and adhering to GMP and HACCP standards. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required. Competitive hourly pay with a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include batch processing, monitoring production, completing SOPs, and maintaining sanitation. Must have a high school diploma or GED; HTST experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or food processing experience preferred.
• Prior HTST experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Batch and pasteurize in the production of finished dairy goods.
• Monitor the dairy production process and follow SOPs; report deficiencies.
• Complete pre-operational checks and in-process monitoring per HACCP plan.
• Operate and adjust pasteurizer and related equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and proper hand cleaning; CIP/SIP as required.
• Document area paperwork, charts, and records accurately.
