Job summary

Maola Local Dairies is seeking a 1st shift HTST Operator in Newport News, VA. You will manage pasteurization and homogenization, operate HTST equipment, and ensure HACCP and GMP compliance. The role requires ability to work 4:00am-12:30pm and overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing or food processing experience preferred.
• Prior HTST experience preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules, thermometers, gauges and meters.
• Basic math and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Batching and pasteurizing in the production of finished dairy goods.
• Monitor production process and follow SOPs; report deficiencies.
• Ensure pre-operational/start-up/in-process monitoring per HACCP.
• Operate pasteurizing equipment; adjust and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and documentation; ensure compliance with GMP/food safety.
