Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Houston, TX is seeking an HTST Operator to coordinate daily HTST production, processing, and filling. The role emphasizes maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will monitor processes, report issues promptly, and ensure proper certification/licensing is maintained to support continuous improvement and food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily HTST production operation, processing, and filling of product.
• Measure work outcome and processes while taking actions toward continuous improvement.
• Maintain productivity and quality management.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Obtain and maintain all certifications and licenses required.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all regulations regarding health and safety.
• Follow GMP and work in a manner consistent with regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

• Measure work outcome and processes while taking actions toward continuous improvement
• Maintain productivity and quality management
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Obtain and maintain all certifications and licenses required
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experienced preferred
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
