Job Responsibilities

• Accompany student(s) to a job site
• Provide feedback to students on their vocational objectives
• Complete job coach notes/assessments
• May work with students one-to-one or in a small group
• Assist students working on skills related to performing their job tasks
• Assist with facilitating social skills in the work place
• Implement accommodations a student may need at work
• Consult with the Vocational and Transition Coordinator
• Attend weekly job coach meetings
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Participate in professional development activities
• Participate in Planning and Placement Team meetings
• Follow the Hamden Public Schools School calendar
• Develop relationships with campus-based and community-based worksites
