Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Material Handler for our Mossville, IL site on first shift, with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour. The role involves receiving, shipping, and general material handling under supervision.

You will operate forklifts, perform recordkeeping, and handle timekeeping documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English skills, and the ability to learn and follow safety procedures.

Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Material Handler position within our Mossville, IL team. The current pay range for this first shift position is $18-$20 per hour.

Overall Purpose

Under direction of the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Team Lead, the HT Material Handler completes all receiving, shipping, and material handling functions as required.

Reports

Direct: Shift Supervisor and Site Manager

Indirect: Area Manager/ Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Sort material as needed
• Accurately and legibly fill out daily paperwork
• Perform record and time keeping activities as required
• Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required
• Use power and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment
• Safely move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Operate a forklift for extended periods while following all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
• Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area
• Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

• Powered Industrial Truck Operator (OSHA) certification or ability to obtain certification through TRIGO HT
• Demonstrated competency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Work Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity.
