Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions in Decatur, IL is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift. Pay is $19.00 per hour and you will assist with receiving, shipping, and general material handling under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

The role requires English literacy, basic math, and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and maintaining accurate records and timekeeping.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Material Handler position in Decatur, IL. Pay is $19.00hr and this is a 1st shift position.

Overall Purpose

Under direction of the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Team Lead, the HT Material Handler completes in a timely manner all receiving, shipping, and material handling functions as required.

Reports To

Direct: Shift Supervisor and Site Manager Indirect: Area Manager/ Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Sort material as needed
• Accurately and legibly fill out daily paperwork
• Perform record and time keeping activities as required
• Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required
• Use power and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment
• Safely move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Operate a forklift for extended periods while following all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
• Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area
• Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
