Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with safety experience in transportation or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, incident prevention and risk management.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policies and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSSE programs across Alaska operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, USCG, EPA, ADEC and other agencies.
• Develop and deliver safety training and maintain records and driver qualification information.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions; support workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Monitor HSSE performance, identify trends and present priorities to leadership.
