Job summary

TerraForm Power is seeking an experienced HSSE Associate to provide regional Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental support across its renewable energy portfolio. The role involves leading field-based HSSE initiatives, guiding leaders and contractors, conducting complex investigations, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HSSE experience in industrial operations, construction, or high-risk environments.
• Experience supporting operating facilities and construction projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture across facilities and projects.
• Support HSSE program rollout and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance to leaders, contractors, and site personnel on HSSE requirements.
• Lead investigations, audits, and risk assessments with root-cause analysis.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and HSSE performance metrics.
• Deliver HSSE training and safety meetings; coordinate documentation.
