Job summary

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company in Southwest Louisiana seeks an experienced HSES Manager to lead the development and delivery of health, safety, environment and security programs for a defined region. This People Leadership role manages technical and professional staff and reports to the Regional Manager.

You will drive regulatory compliance, risk assessments, training, incident investigations, and site safety improvements across multiple projects, including LNG or cryogenic storage tank work.

Qualifications

• Typical 10-15 years since first degree and 8+ years of relevant construction experience.
• 3+ years in a Manager role.
• BS degree or equivalent in HSE or technical curriculum.
• CSP or other HSES professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of all HSES requirements and project deliverables for a defined geographical region or country.
• Regulatory requirements and compliance specific to the scope of work.
• Accountable for ensuring HSES plans, procedures and instructions are implemented.
• Hazard risk assessments and risk control, incident investigations and reporting.
• HSES training need analysis and coordination of implementation.
• HSE input into site execution planning and setting objectives, targets and goals.
• Review of contract specification and client procedures in support of bids.
• Occasional travel to job locations for routine business or emergencies.
