Job summary

Cheniere Energy is seeking an Associate Specialist/Specialist to support the Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) program. The role involves implementing safety plans, conducting investigations, and advising operations to maintain regulatory compliance across LNG facilities.

You will perform on-site duties on a four-day 10-hour schedule with potential 12-hour rotations, audits, and document management. Strong regulatory knowledge, leadership, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates/bachelors in safety & health desirable.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or ability to obtain certification.
• CSP/ASP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine safety inspections and assist in safety program development.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain records in Incident Management System and prepare reports.
• Provide safety guidance to LNG Operations & Maintenance staff.
• Coordinate site safety meetings and risk assessments.
• Operate portable gas meters and interpret readings for risk mitigation.
• Assist with high-risk work permitting activities and safety compliance.
• Support audits and safety training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
