The Opportunity:

This role manages and has overall responsibility for HSEQactivity and support in the assigned O&M region. This position providesconsultative support to management and employees with the goal of creating andmaintaining the company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) valuesand programs. This regional position will support renewable energyoperations & maintenance activities.

What You'll Do at Enel North America:

·Maintain,develop and implement the HSEQ Management System, focused around companyvalues, goals, objectives, and various compliance obligations, including ISO9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001/45001, 37001).

  • MaintainHSEQ deficiency tracking system that monitors outstanding deficienciesuntil resolution.
  • Ensureorganizational compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements,as well as environmental and permit requirements.
  • Definelocal HSEQ strategy, directives, targets, and KPIs.Ensure effectiveimplementation of above by monitoring the performance and condition inassigned region
  • Trackcontractor’s HSE performance and adherence to site HSE policies and rules.
  • DirectHSEQ resources to provide consultative support to the Operations andMaintenance Team.
  • Provideconsultative support to Contractors on EGPNA Projects in order to maintaincontinuity of values at the contract / subcontract level.
  • Responsiblefor supporting the development and maintenance of the operations injurymanagement program, including but not limited to, supporting thedevelopment of programs for reducing incidents and minor injuries in linewith company goals.
  • Lead,or coordinate root cause analyses investigation, documentation, andcorrective action implementation for HSEQ non-conformities, near missesand incidents.
  • Addressingand supporting teams and customers at the area/field level in reviewingconditions, defining action plans as needed and monitoring theirimplementation.
  • Responsiblefor the support of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001& 45001, 37001.
  • Directand when required, conduct routine observations to ensure compliance withregulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety policies,and practices.
  • Investigateand take appropriate actions concerning employee requests, complaints andconcerns involving HSEQ conditions/practices.
  • Developspecific programs and conduct hazard analysis as required.
  • Performrisk assessments for industrial processes, proactively and on the spot, tosupport the planning and safe execution of O&M work.
  • Serveas the HSEQ representative on various Safety Committees, Management ReviewMeetings, and Contractor or Customer interface.
  • Training:manage, facilitate, develop, and deliver HSEQ training as required.

  • Thoroughknowledge of applicable regulations, practices and computer skills
  • Proficientin Microsoft Office applications and database applications (SAP a plus)
  • Stronginitiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvementapproach
  • Abilityto be on call or work off hours as needed
