Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical engineering or similar engineering discipline
• 3+ years of quality systems experience in manufacturing
• Experience managing internal and external audits
• Understanding of standard manufacturing and safety compliance
• Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles on and off property

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote QMS for Mountain Pass Mine and Processing Facility
• Collaborate with process engineers to ensure feed/product spec and first-time on-spec production
• Ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001 and third-party standards
• Lead internal audits and participate in third-party certification
• Coordinate with customer reps to meet requirements and integrate with customer systems
• Lead corrective actions from audits and non-conformities
• Maintain and update controlled documents and the Quality Manual
• Coordinate and execute Management Review process per ISO 9001
• Develop and implement quality systems learning and training tools
• Perform other tasks as directed by management
