United Infrastructure Group is hiring an HSE Technician/Specialist to support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety, health, and environmental programs across projects. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and help maintain a safe work environment for site personnel.

Responsibilities include conducting routine site inspections, developing safety plans, coordinating audits with iAuditor, delivering toolbox talks, and mentoring crews on best

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a safety/environmental/construction-related HSE role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections to identify and mitigate safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Develop, implement, and update HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.
• Create and maintain inspection schedules and conduct audits using tools like iAuditor and OSRs, including tracking corrective actions.
• Facilitate and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness sessions.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Maintain electronic Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure accessibility.
• Track and document employee exposure to hazardous substances or discharge events as required by law.
• Coach and mentor employees and subcontractors on site safety best practices and expectations.
