Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Denver, CO, invites you to join as a Health, Safety, and Environment Student for a 3-month assignment. You will support site HSE tasks, participate in inspections, and help implement safety programs.

You must be 18+ with OSHA training, have reliable transportation, and be able to work full-time in Colorado from May to August. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Hazard anticipation, identification, and assessment training.
• OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour Certificate of Training.
• Authorized to work in the US; PCL will not sponsor visas.
• 18 years of age or older with a valid Driver’s License.
• Available to work in Colorado full time from May to August.

Responsibilities

• Assists site HSE professional with inspections and incident investigations.
• Assists with the orientation of new employees.
• Manages and reviews safety documents per company and project standards.
• Gathers, reviews, and distributes safety-related statistics.
• Helps develop and implement the project-specific HSE plan.
• Delivers Safety programs to site personnel and safety orientation.
• Assists with HSE program implementation in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Inputs safety statistics and daily/weekly HSE documentation into databases.
• Supports PSI program implementation and conducts PSI audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
