Job summary

NOV is seeking an HSE Specialist I to support Tuboscope NOV locations in Texas, including the Corpus Christi area. The role focuses on advising management, coordinating HSE programs, and driving continuous safety improvements across the EPS segment.

You will lead HSE audits, develop safe work practices, and deliver training while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and employees. This entry-level to mid-level position emphasizes practical risk reduction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Interpret, apply and communicate Federal, State, and local regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 HSE systems.
• Willingness to pursue professional development certifications.
• B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related technical discipline.
• Three or more years of HSE experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct HSE advice and support to operational management to ensure improvements.
• Coordinate and support implementation and maintenance of HSE processes and programs.
• Assist with creating HSE campaigns and initiatives that deliver change.
• Prepare health and safety plans and support policy development.
• Monitor HSE KPIs and report opportunities.
• Lead monthly HSE communications with facility leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Develop and deliver HSE trainings.
