Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Safety Operations professional for an on-site turnaround project in Pampa, TX. The role requires coordinating crane and rigging activities, conducting assessments, and submitting reports to the branch office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in safety operations, a related BS, and strong written and verbal communication. You will prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while ensuring strict safety compliance throughout the turnaround.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety operations.
• BS in Health and Safety related discipline preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks under tight deadlines.
• Perform Crane Operator and Rigging assessments and report findings to Branch office.
• Perform driving assessments on TNT Crane employees.
• Investigate, interview, and record information on Near Misses and Incidents.
• Read, interpret, and calculate load percentage using crane load charts and manuals.
• Recognize proper rigging techniques for safe lifting of loads.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety operations during turnaround projects.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits and document findings.
• Coordinate crane and rigging activities to meet schedule.
• Prepare and send trip/incident reports to the Branch office.
