Job summary

Veriforce is hiring an HSE Specialist to help clients develop world-class safety and risk management programs. You will enhance contractor performance, ensure compliance across industries, and shape safety outcomes through data-driven decisions.

You will work with diverse clients, translating regulations into actionable strategies while traveling up to 30–40% across the US. This is a permanent, Operations role based in Houston with opportunities to grow your expertise within a forward-thinking

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HSE with contractor risk management & safety auditing.
• Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHST, SMS preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations & risk management frameworks.
• Ability to analyze contractor performance metrics and provide insights.
• Experience with Veriforce products is a plus.
• Excellent communication & organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and mature contractor risk management programs aligned with OSHA regs and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to evaluate contractor safety performance.
• Benchmark and trend contractor performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
• Recommend leading-edge solutions for improving HSE in contractor management.
• Analyze data to uncover trends and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Guide on integrating risk management in onboarding, training, and evaluation processes.
• Develop tailored action plans addressing gaps in compliance and safety performance.
• Deliver presentations, training, and written resources for clients.
• Establish robust HSE protocols to enhance contractor and supplier safety.
• Represent the organization at industry events to promote leadership in contractor safety.
• Stay informed on OSHA developments and industry trends.
