Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support industrial construction safety on-site. You will lead toolbox talks, walk jobsites to identify hazards, and assist with incident investigations while maintaining accurate safety records.

Strong English communication is required; Spanish skills are a plus. The role offers full-time, on-site work with overtime opportunities and paid training to enhance safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in safety fields.
• 1-3 years in construction safety on-site environments.
• OSHA 30 Construction card or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• BCSP credential or plan to earn one.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs that meet OSHA, EPA, and company standards
• Give toolbox talks and track attendance
• Walk jobsites; spot hazards and log corrections
• Help investigate incidents; gather facts and draft reports
• Keep records current in our safety management system
• Coach crews on safe work habits in English and, when possible, Spanish
• Stay alert to new rules and share updates with the team

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Schedule: Monday-Friday plus some Saturdays

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Procore, HammerTech, or similar safety software
• DOT, NFPA 70E, or confined‑space training
