Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental (HSE) professional to support and promote safety initiatives across construction projects.

You will coordinate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to sustain strong relationships and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires 4-year related degree with 2 years of experience or 5 years with CHST/STS-C, and you must be able to spend up to 80% of time on active construction sites,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 2 years of related experience, or 5 years of CHST/STS-C background.
  • Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain relationships.
  • Support and promote safety program and incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
  • Implement project-based safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
  • Contributes to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
  • Coaches and trains junior team members on duties and processes.
  • Prepares and delivers safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
  • Contributes to development and review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and control measures.
  • Support incident, near-miss, and claim investigations and communications.
  • Maintain knowledge of company HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
  • Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
  • Provide input for audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain required reports and documentation to meet corporate and regulatory standards.

Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
