Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an HSE Specialist to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across operations. You will develop policies, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and deliver training to employees and contractors to promote a safe work culture.

You will maintain records, assist with emergency plans, and collaborate with project teams to embed HSE into planning and execution, staying current on regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within construction, utilities, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred; additional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, ASP) are a plus.
  • CPR certified and instructor preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local HSE regulations (OSHA, EPA).
  • Proven ability to conduct effective safety training and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulations (OSHA, EPA).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure safety standards.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and corrective actions.
  • Provide HSE training to employees and contractors on topics such as hazard communication, confined space entry, fall protection, and emergency preparedness.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, including training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
  • Assist in development and implementation of emergency response plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE considerations into planning and execution.
  • Stay informed of new HSE regulations and best practices; recommend updates.
  • Participate in safety meetings and committees to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Prepare and submit required HSE reports to regulatory agencies.

Job Summary**

The HSE Specialist ensures the health, safety, and environmental compliance of Primoris Services Corporation’s operations, minimizing risks and promoting a safe work culture.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Qualifications:
