Job summary

Bosch USA in the United States is seeking an HSE & Security professional to implement and enforce safety and environmental requirements, and to lead security programs across plant sites.

The role covers 50% HSE and 50% Security duties, with responsibilities including incident investigations, training, policy development, audits, and coordination with regulators. Indefinite US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• College Degree or HS Diploma.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/warehousing or industrial environment in a HSE / Security function.
• Computer skills, strong MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance routes are completed and updated as needed.
• Become shop floor mentor and interface for HSE topics.
• HSE related communication including training, safety alerts and production review meetings.
• Prepare HSE related training material and lead training classes.
• Lead / take part in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actions
• Participate in/lead plant emergency response teams
• Conduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirements
• Develop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementation
• Lead safety audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory and Bosch directives
• Conducts formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changes
• Maintain documentation to meet Bosch directives and regulatory requirements
• Provide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teams
• Interact with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies' requirements

• Analyze, Implement and Enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with the overall company Physical Security Management System (PSMS).
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement, implement corrective measures, and reduce the business impact in compliance and in accordance with Bosch directives.
• Development and implementation of security and loss prevention programs to improve the respective sites’ performance.
• Respond to security breaches, emergencies, or incidents and coordinate appropriate responses.
• Investigate security incidents, document findings, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Assessment & Implementation of physical security measures, such as private security services and security systems (CCTV & IDS).
• Update the data concept in accordance with industry security standards for local sites.
• Establish local awareness programs on crime prevention.
• Initiate and maintain a good collaboration with the respective local authorities at the assigned locations.
