Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking an experienced HSE professional to oversee safety programs onsite in Grand Rapids. You will drive compliance with OSHA/DOT and environmental regulations, develop and upgrade HSE policies, and lead incident investigations and training initiatives.

You will engage safety teams, perform risk assessments, manage workers’ comp cases, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Leadership and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in safety/OSH or related; 2–3 years in manufacturing safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and environmental regulations.
• Ability to train associates at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
• Lead safety program improvements and training initiatives.
• Conduct safety surveys, inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage work-related injuries and workers' compensation claims.
• Prepare reports and maintain safety management documentation.
