Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Safety Coordinator II to support our mission-critical projects nationwide from Cheyenne, WY. You will conduct job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response, ensuring alignment with safety programs and regulatory requirements.

You will lead trainings, host orientations for new hires, and travel up to 75% to project sites across the United States, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role, and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with duct banks, trenching, data centers, underground telecommunication, underground transmission or mission critical highly preferred.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentialing (desired).
• A valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% regionally and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs through meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations.
