Job summary

Michels Corporation in New York, NY is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator II to lead site safety activities, conduct audits, investigations, and emergency response support across projects in the United States. You will partner with operations to ensure HSE program compliance, deliver trainings and orientations, and help foster a culture of safety while traveling regionally up to 75%.

Minimum 3 years in safety, 5 years in oil/gas, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred;

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in a safety role
• 5 years experience in oil or gas industry preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• BCSP and/or CUSP credentialing desired
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Ability to travel up to 75% regionally

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations and emergency response.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs; conduct meetings, trainings and new hire orientations.
• Travel to projects across the United States.
