Job summary

Hydro in North America is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for the Saint Augustine, FL site to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across company processes. The role collaborates with all departments to ensure effective HSE implementation and a safe workplace.

Responsibilities include safety training, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and coordination with the Environmental Consultant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience related to EHS compliance.
• Knowledge of health and safety principles & OSHA standards.
• Ability to build high performing teams.
• Willingness to travel <25%.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license for travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety programs and daily observations to ensure safe work practices.
• Investigate injuries and incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Create and deliver safety training for new employees.
• Analyze industrial hazards and determinants of health for staff and external agencies.
• Develop and enforce safety policies compliant with OSHA and EPA/DEP.
