Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a seasoned HSE Manager for the Walker facility to lead health, safety and environmental programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations. You will report to the site Director of Operations and develop proactive processes to prevent incidents.

This on-site, Monday–Friday role requires a BS in Occupational Safety and Health or related field and 8–10 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 8+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Federal, State and local safety regulations.
• Prior manufacturing experience in an industrial setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Implement proactive HSE programs to prevent incidents.
• Lead incident reporting and investigations.
• Oversee risk assessment programs including JSA, PPE and equipment assessments.
• Manage environmental permit requirements and documentation.
• Oversee and guide the site safety committee and safety goals.
• Develop and update site-specific HSE training needs and equipment assessments.
• Monitor HSE regulatory compliance metrics and reporting.
• Participate in project turnover from an HSE perspective.
• Develop contractor safety guidelines and initiatives.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous materials.
