Albemarle is seeking an HSE Manager to join the Silver Peak Site Lithium Mine and processing plant in Nevada. You will lead a small team of safety professionals and drive operational excellence in safety and environmental compliance, reporting to the Site Director.
This hands-on role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to liaise across all levels. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, and off-site training coordinators to ensure proper HSE training and documentation.

ResponsibilitieswillincludeservingasthesubjectmatterexpertforallHSEmatters,overseetheHSEprogram,facilitatesafetyaudits,anddevelopandmanagethesafetytrainingsprogramtoachievecompliancewithMSHAandOSHAstandards.
Our client is hiring for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. This position is in-office and located in Silver Peak, Nevada.
The HSE Manager will fill a key role for operational leaders at the Silver Peak Site Lithium Mine and processing plant. As a member of the Silver Peak Leadership Team, the HSE Manager will work with the Operations and Maintenance teams to deliver operational excellence as it relates to safety and environmental compliance. This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you will need to demonstrate leadership coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise on all levels. This role will supervise a small team, including a safety professional, an environmental or process safety professional and the site security team. The role will report to the Site Director with support and direction provided by the Lithium Global Business Unit HSE Lead. This role will also work with the off-site training coordinator to ensure proper documentation of site HSE related training.
