Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in the United States is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to develop and implement health, safety and environmental programs for the Phoenix facility, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards. The role reports to the site Director of Operations and focuses on proactive safety leadership and program development.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in HSE roles.
• 8+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Federal, State and local safety laws/regulations.
• Experience interfacing with employees at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement proactive HSE programs to prevent occupational incidents.
• Support incident reporting with investigations, corrective actions and trends.
• Lead risk assessment including JSA, PPE, FMEA and equipment assessments.
• Manage environmental permit requirements and documentation.
• Oversee site safety committee and establish site safety goals.
• Develop site HSE training, reviews and equipment assessments.
• Monitor HSE metrics and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in project turnovers from HSE perspective.
• Develop and implement contractor safety guidelines.
