Job summary

Timpte Inc., located in David City, NE, seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead safety initiatives at its manufacturing facility. You will develop and implement safety programs, engage leaders and shop floor personnel, and drive performance improvements across all locations.

The role focuses on building a proactive safety culture, supervising investigations, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and ensuring effective communication of policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field; 5–7 years of Safety Leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Working knowledge in HSE Management Systems, Incident command, Incident Investigation.
• Willingness to travel to Timpte facilities periodically.
• Insurable driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive and proactive safety culture alongside the Leadership team.
• Lead and engage all employees in identifying risk, defining safety responsibilities, and leading incident investigations; determine causes and implement preventive action.
• Maintain company and regulatory policies and procedures on safety/compliance; ensure documentation, implementation, and communication.
• Conduct/direct internal investigations, periodic reviews and audits of safety issues to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
