Job summary

Hydro North America is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead safety programs, policies and compliance across our manufacturing sites. You will conduct risk assessments, provide training, and maintain records to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, reporting to the Plant Manager.

The role emphasizes ISO 14001/45001, regulatory liaison with EPA/DEQ, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive HSE responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports and procedures.
• Effective project management skills, self-motivated, team oriented, timely, problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides strong HSE leadership at all levels, integrating standards into operations.
• Formulates safety policies in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Maintains ISO 14001 and 45001 programs and related records.
• Coordinates environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and delivers hands-on safety and environmental training for all employees.
• Supports initiatives to reduce injury, incidents, and environmental impact.
