Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our Middletown, OH site. You will lead health, safety and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, and coach site managers on hazard prevention.

You will develop improvement plans, track metrics, perform inspections and audits, and drive corrective actions with local leadership to keep employees safe and productive at this key facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Strong writing and verbal communication to design and deliver training and reports.
• Ability to identify training needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data handling.
• Ability to conduct audits and trainings.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and develop corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership for the Middletown site and West Chester branch when needed.
• Evaluate programs to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Maintain records for occupational and environmental health and safety training and certifications.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses for injuries or near-misses.
• Develop and implement site-specific action plans with local management.
• Prepare safety and compliance reports and contribute to HSE strategic planning.
