Job summary

Knorr Bremse Group in Massachusetts seeks an Occupational Health and Safety professional to develop and implement programs improving environmental efficiency, employee safety, and ergonomics.

You will monitor safety and sustainability metrics, participate in new equipment launches, investigate incidents, and support training and audits to meet OSHA, EPA, ISO requirements. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, or Industrial Hygiene majors with GPA >= 3.0.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and communicate effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing programs to improve environmental efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
• Monitor, analyze, and report safety, environmental and sustainability metrics.
• Join new equipment launch teams to meet HSE requirements (hazard analysis, PPE assessments, machine guarding, waste evaluations, permits).
• Investigate and help resolve injuries, environmental incidents, and property loss events.
• Assist with process safety projects using six sigma, lean, and project management.
• Support auditing to ensure OSHA, EPA, and ISO14001/OHSAS18001 compliance.
• Develop safety and environmental training materials and employee events.
• Coordinate with HSE, Facilities, Engineering, and other disciplines.
