Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or related technical field.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate Student.
• Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029.
• Minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks of availability for internship.

Responsibilities

• Implement action plans to drive a positive HSE culture and improve core HSE programs and systems.
• Provide field HSE support for designated events and projects as directed by your HSE supervisor.
• Demonstrate commitment to meeting HSE performance targets and suggesting improvements.
• Identify hazards, exposures, and risks relevant to operations and projects.
• Evaluate hazards and exposures related to process equipment, facilities, and construction.
• Complete technical documentation and training support for operations/field personnel in regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement plans and procedures guiding regulatory compliance and safe operations.
• Prepare internal and external reports and present to groups of varying sizes.
• Identify and qualify outside resources and services as needed.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations, field audits, and prevention activities.
• Participate in emergency planning and response activities.
