Job summary

PRC Resources is seeking an HSE & HR Specialist to support safety, hiring, and onboarding for our field workforce. This hands-on role will coordinate safety programs, recruit field employees, and manage pre-employment screening and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are ready to begin work.

You will maintain safety records, coordinate trainings, and act as a liaison among field staff, supervisors, and management to uphold safety and HR standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety, recruiting, onboarding, HR or a mix of these areas.
• Experience supporting field-based workforces like oil, gas, water transfer, or construction is preferred.
• Familiarity with safety training, incident reporting and drug screening coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep confidential records.
• Comfortable communicating with field employees, supervisors, and candidates.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support health, safety and environmental programs and procedures.
• Coordinate safety orientations, trainings and required certifications.
• Maintain safety records, training docs and employee files.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor safety requirements and ensure PPE and training needs.
• Coordinate drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment screenings.
• Communicate safety expectations to field staff and supervisors.
• Recruit and screen candidates for field operations.
• Post jobs, review applications and schedule interviews with managers.
• Assist with offers, background checks and other pre-employment steps.
• Coordinate onboarding: paperwork, orientation and training.
• Maintain recruiting and employee records.
• Be a point of contact for candidates and new hires throughout hiring.
