Job summary

Axis Energy Administration LLC is seeking an HSE Field Technician to ensure full compliance with the HSE Safety Management System at the Williston, ND facility. The role supports the HSE Tech Lead in managing district safety performance toward an injury-free environment.

Key duties include identifying hazards, coaching crews, overseeing KPI data, incident investigation, and executing safety audits. Preference given to local candidates within 60 miles of Williston, ND.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• 6+ years HSE/DOT experience, preferably in oil field services.
• CSP, SMS, ASP or OSHA training preferred.
• Experience with ISNetworld or other contractor safety systems; LMS and safety reporting programs such as iScout / KPA.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hazards are identified and controlled per HSE framework.
• Coach and intervene for improvements in safety behavior.
• Verify site orientations for personnel and visitors.
• Manage KPI log: data collection, daily review, weekly submission.
• Facilitate incident management and learning processes, including reporting.
• Conduct audits per schedule and document corrective actions.
• Lead daily safety activities: Start Up Inspections, JSAs, Permits to Work, Equipment inspections.
